The L3Harris aviation night vision goggle provides improved situational awareness with large 25 mm eyepieces and enhanced binocular viewing for optimized depth perception and improved 40 degree field-of-view.
The M949 meets all FAA-TSO 164a certification performance requirements and is based upon the military nomenclature AN/AVS-9.
